Title: QA Engineer

Location: Bay Area, CA (Need Local)

Duration: 6 month

 

Responsibilities:
1. Manual device testing(iPhone, Android, Blackberry and other smart phones)
2. Automate server/api test cases using Python
3. Automate browser based test cases using Selenium
4. Develop test plan and test cases
5. Maintain existing automation framework

Qualifications:
3+ years experience in reviewing product requirements and design, creating test plans, and testing scalable, distributed, fault-tolerated web based or mobile applications
3+ years experience in handset testing(Blackberry,iPhone and Android)
Knowledge of basic Database concepts and SQL
Solid understanding of HTTP, HTTPS protocols, JavaScript and XML (XML Schemas, XPath, XSLT, etc.)
Experience with automated testing and test frameworks
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work under minimal supervision
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to build relationships, collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams in a dynamic, demanding environment
BS/BA in Computer Science or related
Desired Qualifications:

Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Javascript, Python, etc.)
Experience in testing server-side components/API frameworks
