Teradata Architect
Location : La Palma , CA

Teradata Architect with extensive experience building applications in
Teradata using SQL Scripts & Case Statement .
Technical Teradata Architect to provide thought leadership in support of
Implementing Teradata as the analytics foundation for a strategic
project.
Must have leadership and strong communication skills to influence
architecture and design decisions.
Strong Teradata experience required including Best Practices for design
and implementation
Design, Development, and Tuning of High Performance Teradata Virtual
Data Marts.
Strong Knowledge of Teradata DB Platform: Architecture and Concepts,
Physical Database Design.
Strong Experience with Teradata Technology: SQL Programming, Data
Load/Extraction Utilities, Stored Procedures and Functions.
Must be proficient in the full suite of Teradata tools including PMON,
TASM, Teradata Manager.
Advanced level Teradata SQL skills: Query performance monitoring, Query
resource using monitoring, Analysis of execution plans. Baseline
benchmark testing, Optimization of SQL statements, indexing: primary,
secondary, partitioned primary indices join indices, aggregate join
indices, sparse indices, Partitioning strategies, Joins optimization.
