Key Responsibilities:

·         Building Environments (both single node & clustered multi node):

·         Experience in Oracle Fusion Administration for 3-4 years with a total exp of 10 years

·         Installation & Configuration of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g (version 11.1.1.x) suite of products.

·         Weblogic Server

·         SOA Suite

·         Oracle BPM Suite

·         Oracle BPA Suite
Oracle Service Registry (OSR)

·         Oracle Enterprise Repository  (OER)

·         Web Services Manager (WSM)

·         Oracle Service Bus (OSB)

·         Installation of Adapters

·         JCA Adapter for JDE-XE for OSB

·         JCA Adapter for JDE-XE for BPEL

·         JCA (iWay) Adapter for SAP for OSB

·         Applying patches recommended by Oracle

Infrastructure Sizing:

·         Recommendations/Suggestions for Infrastructure sizing

·         Hardware Sizing (Space Required for Installation, RAM requirements etc)

·         Software Sizing (Need to understand fine tuning of kernel parameters that affect Oracle FMW)

·         No. of processors required

·         Incident Management:

·         Liaise with Oracle for the product issues and bring them to closure without impacting the timeline

·         Product Matrix:

·         Need to have some good understanding on the Oracle Product Matrix in the areas of Fusion Middleware suite to verify whether a stack is certified on a particular OS, ETAs for middleware stack.

 

 

 

Web logic Portal Administrator

location : Richmond Virginia
Duration: 6 Months

 

 

Web logic Portal(9/10.x) Administrator

·         Hands on Exp with Web logic Portal Administration

·         New Test Environment Setup for Portal application

·         Understanding of the portal application functioning

·         Fine- tuning of portal system resources

·         User administration

·         Security administration  

·         Integration w/3rd party ISSO/MFA solutions, delegated administration, security best practices

·         Application deployments to test, sandbox, staging, and production environments

·         Knowledge of Basic Unix administration

·         Should be well versed with complex portal, webserver and application server environment.

·         Expert in installation & Configuration of portal environment as per application requirement.

·         Collaboration with application and other teams.

·         Assisting application in load testing

·         Excellent in trouble shooting the problems related with Portal -server configuration issues and performance issues

·         Should be familiar with the deployment and issues related to deployments

·         Environment auditing

·         Validate environment after patch installation.

·         Batch jobs for various data update automation and data movement

·         Networking – concepts such as DNS, proxy, redirects, load balancing as they pertain to internet applications

 

Key skills required:

·         Weblogic Portal server (9/10.x)

·         Knowledge in generic Application components includes Logging, Exception Handling, XML Parsers, Email, Auditing etc.

·         Knowledge in Layered Application architecture comprising of Presentation, BMP/SOA, Business and Data layer
