Disaster Recovery - 3 months

Education:  

Required: Computer Science    

 

Qualifications:

  • Technical Testing (Performance, High Availability, DR, etc.): High degree of expertise and Experience with HP Load Runner and HP VuGen is required.
  • Expertise with HP Performance Center is also required.
  • Experience with: creating test conditions and scripts, executing test conditions and scripts, creating defect reports, and documenting test results, black box, white box, and gray box testing for Performance testing is required.
  • Working knowledge of: o Performance Testing in a client server three tier environment o MS Windows o Internet Explorer o Unix o IBM Mainframe o SOAP o XML o XSD o Web Services o WSDL Understanding of: Citrix, IBM Mainframe, Job Schedulers
  • Good written and oral communication    

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish standards for using Performance Center for monitoring and reporting on Performance Test Metrics.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on the setup, configuration and use of HP provide VuGen, Load Runner and Performance Center for the OMS/DMS project.
  • Provide support to project infrastructure staff in setting up metrics collection and integration with Performance Center.
  • Design and develop automated scripts to drive transaction activity through web browser interface, CICS message, SOAP, XML, XSD, Web Services and WSDL.
  • Provide leadership, best practices, training and knowledge transfer to help internal staff on use of provide VuGen, Load Runner and Performance Center and scripting for performance and volume testing.
  • Develop reporting from Performance Center for analyzing and summarizing performance and volume test metrics and results.
  • Serve as the primary interface to HP Performance Center SDG&E internal and vendor support organization for trouble shooting.
