Job title: QA Lead/Engineer

Location: Freeport, Maine
Duration: 6 Months +

Max Rate: $Open /hr on C2C

 

Job description: Please read the job description closely. Experience with E-Commerce applications is desired, webservice SOAP UI testing, etc.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including expert English language skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous high priority efforts.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• IS project and/or people leadership experience.
• Proven ability to work with project managers to manage resources across projects understanding dependencies, competing priorities and deliverables.
• Administrative experience including updating staffing plans, project calendar, and other project-related administrative duties.
• Ability to read and understand basic software code.
• Ability to translate requirements and software design into robust test cases.
• Experience with troubleshooting issues - interpreting stack traces, verifying data in logs, manipulating data, thinking outside the box to recreate issues, etc.
• Testing experience with web-based applications.
• Experience with web service testing and SOAPUI.
• Ability to write and execute complicated SQL queries.
• MS Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Highly organized, process and detail oriented.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Nice to Haves:

• Fitnesse and Selenium experience.
• Experience with data driven testing.
• Programming experience.
