Solaris System Administration
He or she will be the lead Systems Build Engineer performing the build and deployment of TDN systems for OCL migration. He or she would be taking the server build plan created by the TDN Architect and perform server builds for various classes of servers (RTMDDB, DTP, ITC, EODDB, etc.) including OS, patches, software, and tools. In addition, the Engineer would work with Network Engineering team to ensure servers are assigned to proper VLANs in Texas Data center and have appropriate network connectivity. He or she will also lead other Junior Systems Engineers in ensuring server builds are done accurately and help them troubleshoot issues in conjunction with TDN Architect and Application Development teams. He will have overall responsibility to build and deploy 300+ TDN Servers in Texas.
