Job Description:

Client are seeking a talented PHP/LAMP developer to build, enhance, scale and optimize our software projects. This individual will be working to add front end and back end functionality to our Web, Intranet, and API products. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, extensive PHP/MySQL development experience, and will be able to get up to speed quickly.

Required Skills:

PHP5 - Candidate should be a top-notch PHP developer, familiar with the latest features in PHP 5.2.X and 5.3.X.
MySQL - Database development expertise including performance knowledge to ensure slow queries do not make their way into our production environment.
XHTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX - Expert level Javascript/XHTML/CSS development will be necessary. jQuery experience preferred.
Object Oriented Development / CS Background - Ideal candidates should understand object oriented development, and apply OO concepts to everything they do. Formal CS background or experience preferred.
Self-Starter - Looking for candidates who can jump in quickly without a lot of direction.


Bonus Skills:

SCRUM - Experience working in an Agile development environment.
API Development - Experience in building or connecting to RESTful Web services.

Experience:

This is a senior position; we're looking for somebody who has at least 5+ years of web development experience
