Location :- Pleasanton, CA

Duration :- 12+ Months

 

·         The right candidate will possess excellent technical, communication, and people skills. 

·         We are looking for a candidate with a blend of development, administration, and user support experience in respect to MOSS 2007, WSS 3.0 and SharePoint 2010.

·         The position will be supporting a shared SharePoint environment across many regions.

 

Skills & Experience :-

•        Must have experience in information technology with 3-5 years focused on Microsoft WSS and/or MOSS and SharePoint 2010.

•        Strong SharePoint Design experience.

•        Minimum 2 years administration experience with MOSS 2007, WSS 3.0, and SharePoint 2010

•        Strong javascript and jQuery experience

•        Proficiency with SharePoint Administration 2007/2010

•        Proficiency with SharePoint Designer 2007/2010

•        Proficiency developing customization using SharePoint Designer 2007/2010

•        Proficiency developing custom workflows using SharePoint Designer 2007/2010

•        Proficiency with InfoPath Forms Development

•        Proficiency with Visio Service Development

•        Proficiency with SharePoint client side development using query and javascript

•        Proficiency with SharePoint solution development using SharePoint web services and Object Model

•        Proficiency with SharePoint Object Model and SharePoint Web Services

•        Proficiency with C# and Visual Studio 2008

•        Proficiency with SQL Server Analysis Services and SQL Server Reporting Services

•        Proficiency with writing SQL queries

•        Proficiency with CAML queries

•        Proficiency with CAML, C#, javascript, jQuery, T-SQL, HTML

•        Must be customer focused and have experience in customer facing capacity

•        Understanding of the role of governance and best practices is a must.

•        Must have proven initiative and a self starting capabilities

 

Primary Responsibilities :-

•        Provide end-user support in regards to site provisioning and assigning user permissions.

•        Provide basic user training to end users.

•        Develop simple to complex workflows.

•        Develop custom applications using client-side application technology.

•        Troubleshoot issues on existing SharePoint environments

•        Auditing and management of SharePoint sites and site collections.

•        Management of all aspects of site security, including authentication, group management, and user accounts.

•        Accurate and timely documentation of user requests and activities.

•        Proactive delivery of assigned tasks

•        Communicate effectively with team members and customers in both written and verbal

•        Gather exact project requirements and concisely document design

 

Secondary Responsibilities / Skills :-

•        Project management and general management experience

•        Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•        Excellent presentation skills

•        Ability to communicate complex technical architectures in easily consumable formats

•        Work under minimal supervision, receiving general guidance from more seasoned architects or senior managers.

•        Must provide thought leadership in a number of arenas including technology as it pertains to business capabilities, financial aspects, and strategy development.

•        Ability to interact seamlessly with engineers, developers, analysts, business leaders.

Additional Information:

•        Proficiency with productivity tools such as the Microsoft Office suite

•        Proficiency with Microsoft Project

•        Familiarity with Computer Associates applications such as Clarity

•        Architecture and design experience

•        Business Process Management experience

•        UI design experience

•        Programming or other application development skills

•        Knowledge and experience in various RDBMS systems such as Oracle, DB2, MS-SQL & MySQL and Teradata

•        Six Sigma or Lean Sigma
