Need 2 BA's local to BAY area !

Location: Bay Area

Rate: DOE

Duration: Long term !

 

Requirement 1:
Business Analyst needed for a long term project at Client Site. Provide services to a team of directors to help them decide how to invest their resources (primarily headcount and consultants), then track and report on the progress of projects in the team’s portfolio.

Responsibilities:

--Participate in and/or lead strategic planning processes; provide historical and current information in multiple formats to aid in the discussion and decision process; recommend actions to take to accomplish goals desired; and revised program content according to decisions.

--Host monthly or bi-monthly manager meetings to review portfolio reports, current status, and resourcing needs; make recommendations to resolve conflicts and document results in portfolio documents

--Track team metrics.

-- Gather and Document Requirements.

--Participate in the creation of the quarterly business review, providing portfolio status gathered from teams and/or documentation; provide latest metrics package for the review.

--Attend all weekly staff meetings to continually monitor project progress, document changes, and provide project and portfolio support.

--Create or update templates to gather and present team information, and guide members on when and how to complete the templates


Requirement 2

This Business group provides leadership on the design and and implementation of internal collaboration and communication technologies and their effective integration into business processes. We do this by partnering closely with business functions, Company's IT team, Sales/Marketing, and also by attending to people, process, and culture through proven change management methodologies.

The Client Engagement Business Analyst will work on a variety of projects and take direction from program managers.

Responsibilities to be performed:

* Writing and editing project communications for delivery via email, websites, and other online delivery

* Creating or supervising the creation on messaging in online video

* Gathering and analyzing metrics and client information from a variety of sources and working with the project team to recommend best utilization of resources to improve adoption

* Consulting with all levels of employee and influence them in embracing the changing technologies, business policies, processes and/or systems.

* Advising and reviewing change management plans

* Working directly with teams conducting focus groups and doing interviews

* Managing online communities and related information to address change management and adoption of technologies

* Continually changing and improving processes to keep up with rapidly changing initiatives, client needs, and business goals

* Tracking and documenting projects

The ideal candidate will:

- Understand and be able to use web 2.0 technologies, unified communications technologies, and social media, including discussion forums, wikis, blogs, and online communities

- Possess strong knowledge of change management models (Business Process / Adoption Change Management)

- Be highly skilled in using Excel to analyze information; experience using Business Objects application for pulling and analyzing data is a plus, experienced with Powerpoint for presentations, etc.

- Be skilled in using Visio to draft workflow and swim lane diagrams

- Have strong project management skills

- Work effectively with individual contributors, mid-level managers, and executives

- Be able to take direction from multiple people and prioritize project tasks appropriately
