POSITION  :  Smalltalk Developer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Chevy Chase, MD 20815 
 
 
Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations. (5+ years experience) 
 
Software Skills   SQL  Yes  4 - 6 Years 
Technical Skills  Client/Server  Yes  4 - 6 Years 
Technical Skills  Object Oriented Programming  Yes  4 - 6 Years 
Technical Skills  Structured Query Language (SQL)  Yes  4 - 6 Years 
 
Additional Skills:
 
• 5+ Years of Smalltalk development experience
• Strong understanding of object oriented design skills
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with client server application architecture
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with SUnit framework and test driven development is a strong plus
