Requirement / Responsibilities:

 

·         Should have worked for a Financial industry

·         Strong experience of managing complex data migrations and the relevant tools (ACLdump, Treesize, etc)

·         Solid experience of interacting regularly with both management and technical staff on a global basis, so strong communication and presentation skills are a must.

·         Advanced technical knowledge of the Windows Operating System Platform (Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008 Server) including core windows server products (DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS and FTP)

·         5+ years minimum experience of problem solving and troubleshooting within a large-scale global Windows server environment

·         Good Microsoft Cluster troubleshooting and support experience within a global Windows server environment

·         Solid exposure to EMC Symmetrix/Clariion SAN & NetApps NAS technologies

·         Solid exposure to virtualisation technologies, including VMware ESX 3.5/4 & Microsoft Virtual server

·         Scripting & Development skills (inc. Powershell, VB script, Visual Basic and ASP/ASP.NET using Visual Basic.NET)

·         Ability to work in a very dynamic environment and sometimes to tight timescales

·         Manage projects globally with effective communication and reporting at all levels
