Responsibilities:
· Worked with multiple environments concurrently which included around 12 ebusiness suite and 50 non-ebusiness suite instances.
· Led Oracle Applications upgrade from 11.5.8 to 11.5.10.CU2 and test upgrade for Oracle Application from 11.5.10.CU2 to 12.0.4.
· Led Oracle applications cloning using Bearing Point scripts and Rapid clone, standardized cloning procedure from legacy bearing point to Standard Rapid clone and organized all the pre/post steps for cloning (Single-Node and Multi-Node).
· Wrote shell scripts and sql scripts for post clone steps, RMAN Backup/Clone, Hot Backup. Modified cold backup script to automatic start web tier and IRC tier after backup completion. Wrote shell scripts to monitor Oracle Workflow and other various existing scripts e.g. to source/start/stop services for Apps environments.
· Configured RMAN for backup/ duplicating/refreshing multiple databases.
· Created different test pre-upgrade environments for 11.5.10.CU2 upgrade process.
· Led database only refreshes on day to day basis depending upon the requirement.
· Documented Cloning procedure, WEBADI upgrade and Discoverer 10G upgrade.
· Installed and Configured ADI 7.2 for end users.Applied patches and configured to switch to Oracle Ebusiness WebADI from desktop ADI 7.2.
· Led Oracle Application Server upgrade, solely responsible for upgrade 9.0.4 Application Server to 9.0.4.3 whose inventory was corrupted.
· Led installation of Oracle 10.1.3.3 Application Server OC4J for Hospital Application.
· Led various non-ias Database upgrades from 9i to 10g and 10gR1 to 10gR2.
· Applied various patches for Oracle Public Sector, Oracle Financials FIN_PF.F, Oracle Projects, Oracle Payroll, Oracle HRMS_PF.K which includes Payroll Year end and Year begin patches and HR statuary patches. Applied HRGLOBAL patch for US HRMS,PAYROLL and provided metalink support to developers.
· Led application of quarterly Oracle Critical Patch Update, which involved database up gradation, Inter-operability patches, Applications Techstack patches, Jinitiator up gradation.
· Configured of multi-jvms with Apache Jserver.
· Configured Payroll POC environments, Participated in Oracle Payroll implementation and configured Vertex.
· Performed Oracle Application techstack troubleshooting which included Concurrent Managers, Apache, Jserv, Report Server, Form Server and Discoverer (4i Viewer and Plus).
· Participated in DMZ configuration for Oracle I-recruitment module. Configured internal/external Apps tiers.
· Handled migration of test database(Unix) to windows using exp/imp utility.
· Restored/Recovered databases time to time on different instances also sometime recovered corrupted data in the tables due to user error using flashback.
· Upgraded Oracle Apps to use JRE 1.6 v11 in place of Jinitiator.
· Performed troubleshooting for Oracle Runtime Reports error for Dev office which involved in connectivity issue and increase in system swap space.
· Handled failing over Oracle Applications from Production to Standby.
· Led/Organized fail over of Oracle Application server from Production server to Standby and non ebusiness suite databases from Production to Standby.
· Configured Oracle Advanced Network Option for Oracle 10G R2 database.
· Worked with ssh keys, passphrase and key agents.
· Attended Oracle Workshop on Oracle 11G RAC Software Installation on Oracle Clusterware (CRS) and ASM installation.
· Configured Printers in Oracle Applications for PASTA configuration.
· Led Oracle 10.1.2.0 Application Server upgrade to 10.1.2.3 AS.
