Position :- Quality Assurance
Location :- MN
Duration :- 6 months
Software Quality Engineer responsible for quality assurance of an enterprise level application being developed for large scale market release.
Responsibilities:
Develop High-Level and Detailed Test Cases from business requirements and technical specifications.
Participate on a cross-functional team in an Agile environment.
Participate in software requirements gathering and design sessions.
Plan and implement automated tests (using scripting and writing C# code) for a web-based application.
Execute manual test cases.
Identify, develop and manage the test data.
Document defects and track the issue to resolution.
Required Experience:
Require more than 5 years of experience developing test software and automated test scripts for web-based software applications using Microsoft technologies.
Experience with testing of Enterprise Level applications -- Performance, Scalability, Security
Ability to accurately estimate work effort for a project, contribute to the development of timelines, and Manage work to meet the project schedule.
High productivity.
Ability to work at both a detailed and abstract level.
Excellent problem solving and analysis skills, systems thinker, results driven, self-motivated, team skills, ability to work independently, excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Experience: These are nice to have's – not requirements!
Specific Agile experience
Team Foundation Server 2010, Visual Studio 2010 Test Edition, SQL Server 2008 experience
Experience in object-oriented design and development technologies including .NET, C#, or C++
