DW BI Architect

1.     DW BI Architect :

 

Person must have strong professional consulting skills, Financial Domain Experience and the ability to communicate well with Management & user community. Must have min of 10-12 yrs of exp with expertise in below areas.

·         Assess requirements, Direct the discovery process and establish the BI strategy

·         Define the overall data warehouse architecture (e.g., ETL process, ODS, EDW, Data Marts)

·         Define data strategy – Data management, Data integration & DQ strategy

·         Define technical requirements, technical and data architectures for the data warehouse 

·         Devise the implementation plan and Infrastructure Strategy

·         Model the Physical data base design, including Star schema and data mart design, Snowflake schema design

·         Evaluate the Change data design, including slowly changing dimensions and Operational data store design.

·         Design data migration, archival & Retention Strategy

·         Evaluate DWH Data/Tools for best fit

·         Design and direct the ETL process, including data quality and testing

·         Support reference data architecture & MDM strategy for EDW

·         Design and direct the information access and delivery effort for the data warehouse 

·         Define and direct the implementation of security requirements for the data warehouse

·         Define meta data standards, capture and management strategy

·         Devise the DW operations management including Process architecture and System processes

·         Define production release requirements and sustainment architecture

·         Define Real time / Near real time data strategy for future DWH – Via IBM Web service, ESB – SOA
