Position: SQL Performance Tuning Consultant

Location: CA

Duration: Long Duration

 

Description:

 

·         Deep understanding of Tools: TKPROF, TOAD, Citrix, Remedy Web, Mercury Test Director
PL/SQL strong knowledge
Good knowledge on tuning the ERP databases (Oracle Apps) and the application code in order to obtain better performance of the system as a whole.
Experience providing solution on queries to reduce server consumption in terms of Logical/Physical IO.
Experience on SQL Query Optimization, by identifying problems from query explain plan and resolve the issues either by forcing Oracle Hints, query re-writing, code restructure or possible database design change
Experience on providing solution for processes, packages, procedures, reports and queries which consume most of Server and hung up in database server
Experience in tuning the queries of Sales, Manufacturing, and Purchase, Finance etc. module of Oracle Application by doing fine tuning of code with significant performance gain in response time.

·         Customer Management and Client Coordination, Status Reporting, Team Meeting and Performance Reviews, Defining Responsibilities and Reviewing Deliverables and ensuring the SLAs
Manage Knowledge Transfer Process, Organizing Performance Engineering Seminar and Trainings, Communication skill, Presentation Skill
