Required Skills
- Establish performance baselines
- Accurately project future costs for proposed and authorized work in an environment of frequently changing requirements and priorities
- Define work authorization processes in an environment of frequently changing requirements and priorities
- Accurately report performance-to-date relative to expenditures-to-date
- Provide integrated reporting to support efficient, informed management decisions by stakeholders
- Develop and document process and procedures to support accurate systems for collecting and reporting costs that are compliant with federal and state regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2010, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Has the ability to work and communicate with internal and external customers in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner.
- Understands basic I/T department architectures.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Info Tec, or other related discipline.
- 10 years progressively responsible, related experience. Prior experience with info tech project cost control. State or federal sector experience.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience preferred.
- Has experience in and knowledge of formalized project management methods and techniques such as PMI, CMMI, etc.
