Direct Client Req: Network Program Security Consultant

Role: Network Program Security Consultant

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: 1 year

 

Required;

 

This position is required in order to perform the vulnerability management scans of the entire enterprise, allowing us to have a holistic view of risk.  This position will also document any findings, and then drive remediation of those findings.

 

Unique Skills Reqd.

 

- experience with network equipment

 

- experience with network appliances & load balancers

 

- previous network administration

 

- scripting experience  (perl/bash/etc)

 

- previous Unix/Windows administration experience

 

- understanding of enterprise networking environments

 

- includes all functions related to enterprise-wide data security, such as firewalls.  Also includes efforts to mitigate data security risks.

 

Deep knowledge of diverse systems and platforms and exposure to new and emerging technologies

Mission Criticality: Demonstrated experience working on mission critical network infrastructure equipment

Troubleshooting: Advanced demonstration of diagnostic skills across a broad number of technologies and platforms

Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members); Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals

Demonstrated ability to work with and coordinate efforts amongst multiple outside third parties
