Title: Sales Force Developer
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 6+ Months
SCOPE OF SERVICES
· The Sales Force developer will work closely with IT, business operations and Strategic Planning for the successful technical delivery, testing, and continuing advancement of the Force.com platform within all regions and business lines.
· Build and develop applications from inception through versioning and maintenance
· The Sales Force developer will help IT and Strategic Planning understand and implement best practices in integrating their business applications within the Force.com platform.
· Responsible for implementing and designing new features and functions within Sales Force environment.
· Write technical approach and design documentation supporting business needs.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 4 years of experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions; environments include but are not limited to mainframe, mid-range, personal computers, laptop
· Minimum 1 experience developing high quality/sophisticated Web front-ends, using HTML, JavaScript and CSS, including mobile formatted Web pages, on aggressive timelines
· Minimum 1+ years Salesforce.com experience, in Visual Force/APEX development, integration and configuration
· Force.com developer certification or equivalent experience
· Experience modifying existing programs, designing and developing new programs in Java programming language and XML interfaces at a high quality on aggressive timelines
· Experience in independently, expeditiously completing simultaneous small/mid-size web application projects while producing acceptable work product.
· Experience working closely with testing teams to help develop testing cases and scripts and to correct issues and bugs (strong troubleshooting and analytical skills) within timelines
· Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to develop and maintain clear documentation of all work performed and the ability to work well and communicate well in a team environment with other staff and consultants working in IT, business operations and Strategic Planning groups
· Familiarity with developing Web applications in at least one additional programming language
· Experience with public facing web application development i.e. customer portals and interfaces.
· Experience connecting to relational databases such as SQL Server
· Experience with ERP and CRM management
