       Performance Tester

       Location: Cupertino, CA

       Duration: 6+ Months

 

 

Job Description:

ü       Over 8+ years experience

ü       Candidate is going to be the first person in the team to start a program.

ü       Customer is looking him to become an anchor/leader for 40 different applications wrt application testing and performance testing. Hence, the candidate should be highly pro-active and self motivated while dealing with the Test activities.

ü       Should be hands-on senior Performance Engineer (A performance architect with knowledge in application architecture, hands on experience in Java programming, experience in using Junit, Jmeter has done application performance tuning). Hands-on in defining the test framework, doing tool evaluation, performing tool fitment, performance scripting, analysis and reporting

ü       Should have strong experience in using java programming and testing tools.

ü       Experience in coming up with test strategies in web testing, multi browser testing and browser upgrade testing.

ü       Strong leadership skills and should be able to manage multiple stake holders.

ü       Should have experience in managing onsite offshore teams.

ü       Should have strong analytical skills

ü       Should have onsite customer facing experience

Additional Skills:

ü       Experience on Web application /Web services testing

ü          Should have knowledge on the tools Jmeter, NeoLoad,

ü           Load testing with 500k users/day

ü          Should have Experience in High Availability testing

ü          Should have experience to automate the test cases in java

ü          Should be able to collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage requirements

ü          Excellent trouble shooting and debugging skills

ü       Should have done scoping, requirement gathering and preparation of test strategy.
