We are looking for .Net Consultant – Location – Wall Street, NY – 6+ Months Contract Position.

Roles and Responsibilities:
· Development of a new front end GUI, which will replace the legacy Arina OMS GUI [will get back if it is Arina or Arena (from Sun Guard)]
· Working closely with customer development team, business analysts, and quality assurance specialists working on the project.
· Develop required GUI features using .NET 4.0 and WPF.
· In addition to the GUI layer, there is a View and Action Server (VAS) layer (developed in Java) providing connectivity to the back-end systems. GUI and VAS server developers will work as a part of the same team. The team uses the Agile approach to software development.
Background/Experience:
· Education: a BS in CS or an equivalent, or 8+ years of relevant experience
· C# / .NET 3.5 / WPF
o C# – 7+ years is required
o WPF – 3+ year is required
· Financial industry experience is required
o Business knowledge (esp. Equity trading) is a MUST
o Experience with Cash flows if a big plus
o Front office development experience is a plus
· Agile/XP development experience including test driven development is a big plus
· Experience with performance sensitive SoA systems is a plus
· Knowledge of MVVM, DI and IOC is a MUST
