REQUIRED SKILLS:
1) Significant experience Cobol programming
2) Experience in using Oracle database and pro-Cobol
3) Strong experience in SQL and PLSQL skills
4) Experience in writing Unix shell scripts
5) Experience in tuning SQL statements and system performance
6) Strong Integrated Eligibility experience
7) Experience of SDLC environment
8) Design experience of large scale applications
9) Good analytical skills
10) Experience in gathering system requirements
11) Experience in working with end client
PREFERRED SKILLS:
1) Excellent troubleshooting abilities
3) Good communication and documentation skills
3) Works well under own initiative.
4) Ability to recommend solutions / designs.
5) Previous experience in the welfare domain
RESPONSIBILITIES/Expected Deliverables:
This position will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining a several sub-systems, gathering requirements, creating a design and implementing the change. The individual will also be responsible to optimize processes, SQL statements and other areas to improve application performance.
