Position  :  WMB Architect/Developing
Location :  PLEASANTON, CA
Duration :  2 years contract

 

Requirements
Must have at an expert level (3+ years experience):
Hands-on experience developing message-oriented integration solutions with WMB and MQ;
ESQL in WMB development experience
Web Services, WSDL, SSL familiarity
Experience with testing tools (ITKO LISA)
AIX scripting such as shell script and PERL

 

BA or BS Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required

XSLT and XQuery
DataPower, WebSphere Services Registry and Repository (WSRR)

 

Day-to-Day
The Senior Integration Developer is a seasoned engineer, primarily responsible for developing integration solutions, troubleshooting issues and assisting with code reviews to ensure the optimal solution has been delivered.

 

This individual will leverage their knowledge of industry best practices and infrastructure to continually improve internal development procedures and standards. As needed, this individual may assist other developers with development challenges and be called upon to assist with critical troubleshooting and bug resolution.

 

When needed, the senior may provide input to solution designs and communicate technical details to business partners. Seniors apply industry best practices regarding Service Oriented Architectures and system modeling in order to satisfy business and technical requirements by developing a reusable, manageable, and cost-effective integration framework.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform and plan for! the Websphere Message Broker migration from V6 to V7 on AIX platform.
Conduct proof-of-concept on various V7 new features;
Build regression test suit on ITKO LISA for hundreds on existing WMB message flows;
Build virtualize service on ITKO to facilitate the intensive testing during the migration;
Research and resolve technical issues and recommend appropriate interventions/modifications as needed.
Conduct root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence of issues
