Need Sr. Java Dev. for VA !

Senior Java J2EE engineer with backend development, Web services and Hibernate experience. for a contract opportunity at their VA location.

 

Our client is seeking a Lead Java Engineer who has developed highly scalable and high traffic web applications, and can interact with business and technology teams to understand requirements, and design and implement architectural solutions to meet the business needs. The core responsibility is for the design and development of architectural and application modules for Software solutions working with onsite and offshore development teams. The right individual will think about the product as a whole, and how changes impact users.

 

Position:  Senior Java, J2EE engineer with Hibernate, Web Services

Location:  Northern, VA

Terms: 4-6 months Contract

Start: ASAP (Interview slots currently available)

Rate: $ 60-65/Hr Corp-Corp 

Requirements:

·         The right candidate will have 7-10 years of Java/J2EE, backend development and  strong Object-Oriented programming andWeb application development experience.

·         You should have experience with ORM (Object Relational Mapping), Server-side development and database systems with strong knowledge of design patterns and methodologies.

·         Candidate must also have strong architectural, design, and development skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

·         Solid understanding of SQL skills, preferably with Oracle database, along with XML, HTTP, SOAP, REST, and Web Servicesexperience required. UI experience is a plus including AJAX.

·         Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet tight deadlines. 

·         Experience in seeking, evaluating and integrating with Open Source software solutions is highly desirable.

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Master’s degree preferred.
