REQUIREMENT DETAILS:

Role: Sr. SQL DBA and SQL Developer

Location: Dallas, TX   

Duration: 3 Months to Hire-

Need only citizen or G.C

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

At least two years of Microsoft SQL Server experience at DBA/Developer level.

 

Skill sets Required are:

 

• Solid skill set for building and maintaining SQL Server databases in SQL 2005 and SQL 2008. This also includes creating backup and recovery processes.

 

• Solid understanding and practice of data modeling.

 

• Solid skill set in understanding, building, and maintaining indexes, primary keys, and foreign keys.

 

• Solid skill set in developing SQL Server stored procedures and views. This also includes the use of T-SQL and creating special functions.

 

• Solid skill set in creating SQL Server Agent jobs and error handling.

 

• Solid skill set in building SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for numerous levels of coding challenges.  Knowledge of SSIS configuration files and concepts also required. This also includes solid knowledge in Visual Basic for scripting code tasks in SSIS.

 

• Knowledge of performance tuning and performance debugging. This includes a knowledge and basic use of SQL Profiler and SQL Dynamic Management views.

 

• Be able to follow coding practices and guidelines.

 

• Be able to create support documents for above items.

 

Skill sets that might be beneficial.

 

• Building and maintaining SQL Server Reporting Services ins 2005 and 2008.
