SUMMARY:

Responsible for all aspects of Windows Server 2008 R2 File services. This

includes research,  design,  test,  and manage all components of File

Services which is managed by the desktop organization at American Airlines.

Majority of the focus will be on DFS,  DFS-R,  FSRM,  Disk Quotas,  and File

classifications. ,

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ,

·         Research,  design,  deploy,  and test Windows 2008 R2 Operating System. ,

·         Research,  design,  deploy,  and test File Services,  DFS,  Disk Quotas,

·         and File Screens. ,

·         Research,  design,  deploy,  and test FSRM. , '

·         Design,  implement,  and support server virtualization using Hyper-V. ,

·         Design directory structures,  rights,  security,  and software on file

·         servers. ,

·         Responds to the needs and questions concerning File Services. ,

·         Develops and adheres to network standards. ,

·         Provides planning and technical support for company installations. ,

·         Provide assistance to other support groups as necessary ,

·         Assists in the selection and recommendation of standardized equipment

·         selection. ,

·         Stays abreast of new technologies as it applies to business needs. ,

·         Performs other duties as assigned. ,
