Job Title	:	Oracle DBA
Relevant Experience (Yrs)	:	Minimum 3-5 years Oracle DBA experience * Experience w/ large-scale systems
Necessary Skills	:	*Good understanding of Oracle design, architecture, security & performance tuning ·        * Skilled in SQL & PL/SQL
Desired Skills		*Unix or Linux experience is a plus *Create tables, stored procedures, indexes & triggers, etc. *In depth knowledge of Oracle 10g/11g database and architecture
Roles & Responsibilities	:	*Performance Tuning must come from a strong  Oracle development background. *Research and resolve actual or potential problems with Oracle database and underlying operating systems (Unix) in a timely and proactive manner. *Able to analyze all the oracle generated performance reports  and resolve database related bottlenecks *Plan and organize support checklist for monitoring the database performance related to the application *Work with vendors to resolve database or OS performance related issues.
Generic Managerial Skills	:	·        Able to plan/track tasks/activities ·        Report progress/challenges to Project Manager
