Role: Performance Test Architect

Location – Mooresville, NC

Duration:  6-12 months

 

 

Performance Test Architect

 

Must have Retail Industries Experience (Home Depot, Lowes or equivalent).

 

Purpose:

The position will be responsible for analyzing and extrapolation of Non-Functional (NFR)and Quality of Service Requirements (QoS) for large and complex projects.  Ensures Performance Test team understands and is aware of the technologies, interfaces, and overall architecture being tested.  Partners with the Performance Team, Retail Clients Testing Center, Retail Client  IT, and project stakeholders to ensure new and existing applications are completely covered during Performance Test execution. 

·         Develops and maintains a complete picture view of the project, it's dependencies, performance  goals, and technology

·         Provides Technical Leadership to the Performance Test Team and Retail Clients Testing Center

·         Assist with overall Performance Test Strategy development for large and complex projects

·         Technical Authority on Performance objectives and deliverables for non-functional requirements

·         Assist with Performance Test Plan development

·         Completely understands Non-Functional and QoS requirements and works with the Performance Team and Retail Clients Testing Center to translate requirements into testable solution

·         Validates NFR and QoS requirements and seeks clarity from project management, stakeholders, and business

·         Responsible for adjusting Performance Test framework for large and complex projects

·         Responsible for planning performance proof of concepts and demos for new applications

·         Maintains overall application(s) knowledge and is able to guide Performance Test Team 

·         Analyzes testing technologies and makes appropriate suggestions to enhance and guide the testing direction

Relationships & Communication:

·         Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close

·         Facilitates complex group meetings and conducts information gathering sessions

·         Prepares and delivers presentations to business and technology partners, senior management and executives, selecting the appropriate approach based on the audience

·         Resolves conflicts/issues and escalates others as appropriate

 

Development & Coaching:

·         Assist with developing strategy for Performance test activities for team members

·         Provides expertise, direction, coaching and development to build the team capability

·         Continually enhances own skills and builds knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and information systems
