Financial AX Consultant (functional)
Location: Portland or Medford, OR
Duration: 2 months (with good possibility of extensions)
Rate: $80-90/hr depending on exp
DESCRIPTION:
This position is for a Functional AX Consultant with Financials experience. The candidate will be working on full life-cycle implementations of Dynamics AX solutions.
Experience around implementation and deployment of AX modules and customizations and a minimum of five years of experience as a client facing AX Consultant along with a Finance or Accounting background is desired.
SKILLS -- REQUIRED:
Full life-cycle implementations of Dynamics AX solutions
Functional and technical requirement gathering and documentation
Working closely with developer to ensure that the specification is documented adequately
Traveling to client sites
Implementation and deployment of AX modules and customizations
Project scoping and estimation
Fit-Gap analysis
Solution Reviews
Gather solution acceptance
Advise and suggest improvements
Quality Assurance and Testing
Post-live training and support
SKILLS -- NICE TO HAVE:
Financial AX roles (functional)
AX Consultant client facing roles - 5+ years
Finance or Accounting background
Team player
