Need Java Developer in DE for our Direct client (Assured interview)

Rate: $/hr CTC

Duration: 6 months

Inperson interview after phone interview

Candidates must have experience with the following skills for this position:

·        Java / J2EE and Spring MVC framework

·        Spring Web Services.

·        Spring JBC.

·        Mock framework and – EasyMock, JMock or Mockito (unit testing mocking tools).

·        Velocity or Webflow.

·        Maven and / or Ant.

·        SOAP UI – developers will be involved in unit testing of the services they are writing.

·        Agile / SCRUM methodologies and ability to discuss sprints.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Several years experience building high-availability Java applications that interact with multiple systems.
• In-depth knowledge of web presentation methods (HTML, XSL, CSS, etc).
• Experience with software development on commercial or enterprise projects.
• Experience with multi-tier system design and implementation.
• Proven ability to work independently and part of a team to successful implement projects.
   

**Required Skills:

The candidates must be somewhat local to the East Coast and be able to attend an in-person interview after a technical phone screen in Wilmington, DE.

 

Additional Technical skills and abilities:

·                     In-depth knowledge of Java including JUNIT, ANT.

·                     In-depth knowledge of XML including XSLT and XPATH. Nice to have includes PL/SQL.

·                     Deployment familiarity of J2EE.

·                     Familiarity with major database vendors such as MS SQL Server and Oracle.

·                     Knowledge of enterprise application design patterns.

·                     Solid interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form.

·                     Exceptional problem solving abilities.

Team # 1 (2 openings):

• Developers must have experience in developing web applications on J2EE platform that involve integrating with 3rd party web services.
• For this project developer is required to build new Java services that integrate with internal products & 3rd party products using web services.
• The Developer is expected to thoroughly test services using Unit & Integration testing.
• Applicants need to closely work with Business & Quality Analysts on day to day basis.
• Knowledge of various open source libraries and frameworks is very valuable, as is Agile / SCRUM experience. 
• Strong communication skills with English are required.
• Ability to understand oral and written business requirements is needed in many situations, and so we review soft skills in the review.
