Role: Sr Siebel Functional Tester
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: 6 months
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø This individual will participate in regular client calls/meetings to provide technical architecture, design solution and work on development and act as a technical guide for subordinates.
Ø Continuously enhance knowledge as per project/organizational need and share information/ knowledge at all levels.
Ø Keep pace with demanding operational responsibilities to meet schedules, deliveries and quality expectations.
Ø Documentation as per standards and guidelines and completion of periodic task status reports.
Ø Demonstrate responsiveness towards peers and other functional areas.
Ø Independently handle assigned tasks with minimum guidance.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ø Experience with Siebel Functional Testing – Minimum 4 years of hands on experience is required.
Ø Experience with Siebel 8.X is required. If worked on Siebel e-Sales Application preferable.
Ø Experience with Lead, Order & Campaign Management - Minimum 2 years of hand on experience is required.
Ø Experience working on OBIEE 10.1.3.X & as well on BI Publisher – Minimum 2 years of hand on experience is required.
Ø Should have experience in working on Dashboard and Reports. Should be familiar in testing Adhoc reports.
Ø Communicate with project managers as to the progress of open items and work with other developers, Architects, Project Managers or other infrastructure resources as needed using knowledge of Information systems infrastructure, Systems development stages, Systems development life cycle, Rapid application development, Systems analysis, Systems design, Steps in Requirements gathering, Risk Analysis, Data modeling, define Process & methodology, Project planning and control, Evaluation of systems alternatives, Web and GUI design, Design tips, etc.
Ø Work with the assigned development team to write and maintain software life-cycle documentation such as User guides, Requirement documents, Test cases & scenario creation and validation, Analyze test results and Document test report for further analysis. This includes Unit testing, Functional testing, Regression testing & Performance Testing.
Ø Perform and provide end-user support, systems and business analysis, documenting business processes and systems requirements, systems configuration and systems testing. All of the above job duties will be performed under supervision from the Project Manager.
Ø Ability to lead a project or work independently.
Ø Excellent communication skills.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Ø Minimum 6 years of experience as QA engineer.
Ø Experience with Quality Centre test management tool.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Ø Experience on Siebel migration desirable but not required.
Ø Experience on QTP automation regression desirable
Educational Requirement: BA/BS degree is required.
