Need Senior Java Developer at NC / IL (Direct Client) (Immediate Placement)

Position : Senior Java Developer

Location : Charlotte , NC / Chicago , IL

Duration : Long Term 

 

 

The Senior Web Application Developer will be responsible for design, development and delivery. The candidate must exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills and have experience interfacing with internal technical and business partners as well as external partners.

The role requires senior level Java development experience, Java SE and Java EE. Strong technical knowledge and experience working with the Spring Framework is an absolute must. In general, a candidate with a strong background with Open Source Java Frameworks and a passion for software development is desired.  

 

The ideal candidate would have 7-10 yrs experience developing Java Web applications in a banking or brokerage environment.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

Spring Framework; Spring MVC; Spring Webflow

REST

Aspect Oriented Programming

Open Source Java Frameworks

Test Driven Development; JUnit; Spring Integration Tests a plus

Proven experience working with Maven

Proficiency in Unix, Linux

Familiarity with Web Security concepts

Knowledge and previous application of Design Patterns

Knowledge of web servers, app servers

Ajax ; Javascript ; HTML ;CSS ; JQuery a plus

SOAP Web Services; JAX-WS a plus

JAXB

Dozer

JSP/JSTL

Code Repository Experience ; Subversion a plus

Development experience in Eclipse; Ability to debug/profile
