We are looking for Release Engineer – Location – Dublin, OH – 12+ Months Contract Position.

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Overall responsibility of software release across multiple release streams

·  Single point of contact for managing release branches

·  Strong experience in version control (TFS) procedures - checkin, checkout, labeling, shelving, branching, merging, conflicts management

·  Validate and synchronize different environments and ensure stable release

·  Extensive experience in reviewing new and changed code, tracking and auditing change histories, debugging build and runtime problems

·  Maintain build process to support ongoing development, regression and user/system level tests

·  Primary responsibility for updating release branches to the system, building and testing release binaries, and pushing releases to production

·  Design and document improvements for scalable, automated, integration/build/test/release processes

 

Skills:

·  Minimum 7 years of IT experience in web and distributed application development of which at least 5 years of experience in handling product based release management and deployment process

·  Extensive experience in using TFS for version control and application life cycle management

·  Good experience in ClickOnce deployment for Web and Windows application
