We are looking for FileNet Technical support resource – Location – Hartford, CT – Long Term Months Contract Position.

Roles and Responsibilities

 

Requirement:  Certified consultant to provide FileNet technical support to various customer agencies in support of the IT projects being installed, upgraded and configured in the Linux environment running on System z.   

·  Upgrade and configure IBM FileNet P8 version 5.0 to version 5.1 in all four environments (Test, Development, Staging and Production) running on Linux on System z.

·  Install and configure IBM FileNet P8 products as required by the agencies.  Examples are IBM forms, Case Management, Record Manager.

·  Must have knowledge in FileNet Enterprise Manager, creation of Object Stores and security enablement.

·  Knowledge of FileNet best practices related to the configuration and management of the FileNet applications in order to ensures acceptable performance.  

·  Upgrade Websphere version 7.0.11 to Websphere ND (current version) in staging and production environments.

·  Create and configure additional IBM FileNet environments as needed. 

·  Create and configure additional HTTP environments.

·  Develop and implement a maintenance schedule for the Enterprise Content Management system.

·  Work with agencies and their application vendors to deploy, debug, and configure their individual environments

·  Provide effective, clear communication (oral and written) to management, technical staff and non-technical agency partners and vendors.  Exhibit the ability to work in a team environment, be able to juggle multiple projects, and have effective time management skills.

·  Have the ability to create SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) for help desk personnel to diagnose incidents.   

·  Provide knowledge sharing to DOIT Operations Teams.

·  Familiar with project management practices and ability to lead projects and project meetings a plus.

·  Be proficient in these areas: Linux on system z, SUSE Linux  Enterprise Server, IBM z/VM, networking protocols HTTP and TCP/IP, Fiber channel protocols, Storage area Network, IBM ECM, Websphere and Websphere ND    

 

Government Experience highly preferred not a must have.
