Responsibilities:
- Manage team of 4-8 Informatica developers
- Collaborates with Enterprise Architects, Business Transformation Partners, Information Architects and Foundation Architects to ensure overall architecture roadmap alignment and implementation of integrated solutions.
-Collaborates with business end-users, Business Transformation Partners, Solution Analysts and Solution Leads in requirements gathering and reviews to drive continuous improvement of solutions, including end to end usability within and across application portfolios.
-Collaborates with Enterprise Architects, Application Development and Infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual enterprise level solutions for the project that integrate across applications, systems and platforms
-Analyzes and translates business, information and technical requirements into architectural solutions to achieve business objectives that are aligned with the End-State Architecture and meet the project scope, schedule and costs.
-Provide direction to project development team leaders within the solution portfolio, including coaching to help ensure staff is working together and leveraging strengths.
-Maintains technical knowledge and best practices for designing solutions
-Maintains working knowledge of applications, products, and services from an end user perspective.
-Establishes and evolves the architecture for a portfolio of related applications and services including both 3rd party packaged applications and services and internally developed solutions in order to provide fully integrated solutions that are secure, usable, high performing, scalable, and manageable.
-Drives reuse across data and services within and across portfolios of applications, including establishing and leveraging architectural approaches such as master data management and common service orientation.
-Works with leaders across IT as well as technology vendors to drive continuous improvement of the architecture, tools, and best practices.
-Proposes changes in process, policy and standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles.
-Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems.
-Viewed as a technical expert and critical resource across multiple disciplines.
-Coaching and mentoring less experienced technical staff
Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of leading the technical aspects of multiple IT projects ranging in varying degrees of complexity. Formal Architecture experience is preferable.
- Must have a thorough understanding of data warehousing and data integration technology, tools and processes.
- Experience in architecting and implementing Data Warehousing/Data Integration solution
- Informatica ETL Tool expertise. Exposure to OBIEE tool; OBIEE implementation experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently to meet aggressive deadlines and produce high-quality results by leveraging strong data warehousing skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision in a team setting and dynamic environment.
-Strong decision making and communication skills and ability to easily communicate with business leaders as well as technical teams. Must be able to translate complex ideas and analysis into clearly understandable and impactful presentations or documents to influence business and IT leadership in the organization
-Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Ability to coach, mentor, train and lead personnel within a technical team.
-Experience preferred in transportation/logistics/distribution industries but not required.
-Solution Architect experience with 3rd Party systems, preferably Oracle EBS, Siebel, OTM, Fusion Middleware, OBIEE, OIM, and OEM among others.
-Experience with EA repository management systems such as IDS Scheer ARIS (Oracle BPA) or other enterprise architecture tools.
-Must be well informed and knowledgeable around leading edge concepts in technology including SOA, SaaS, Virtualization, Security, Cloud Computing, Mobile devices, Information Management, MDM, BPM, and Portals.
-Enterprise Architecture experience in EA methodologies, frameworks and tools such as DODAF, TOGAF or Zachman framework is beneficial.
