project has updated required skills, please see below. Also, please ensure that the candidates meet the following in addition to the required skills:
1. Install and manage Rational Suite of Products
2. Hands on experience with Build and Deployment of a J2EE application in a WebSphere environment
3. Management of code streams in Clearcase
ROLE: Build Engineer
REQUIRED SKILLS:
"3+ years of experience in Configuration Management as Build Engineer.
Good experience with installation and management of IBM Rational Suite including Clear quest, Clear Case and Requiste Pro.
Strong knowledge of ANT, PERL and Shell Scription
Experience in managing code merges and Cleasecase management
Experience in build and deployment of J2EE applications in a WebSphere application server environment
Must have excellent communication skills."
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Strong knowledge of Build Automation tools like Hudson/Cruise Control
EXPECTED DELIVERABLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
"The candidate will work very closely with the application team and make sure the code is checked-in into the version controller.
Develop and maintain the script to deliver the code using clear quest and clear case.
Develop and maintain the script to deploy the code onto the application server.
Generate high level status report quering CQ and CC
Automate the Build process implementing Hudson or Cruise control"
