C++ SW/HW Engineer
Location is Reston/Herndon, VA.

Qualifications
Understanding of wireless networks, architecture and protocols is required
Experience with SNMP and TNM protocols
Experience with fault management, fault collapsing, and redundancy
Experience in client-server architecture
Experience with Graphical User Interface design
Exposure to High Availability and redundancy systems
Basic understanding of call processing in wireless networks is desired
Experience with system monitoring and maintenance
Ability to convert customer requirements into high level system level design
General Qualifications
Experience with C/C++/Java development
Experience with Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL
Experience in managing the HW and SW for the real time, service critical applications.
Experience with scripting: Python, PREL, shell, TCL, AWK etc
Experience with socket programming
Good understanding of Sun Solaris operating System and Linux.
Understanding of hardware architecture and software architecture
Able to work hands on with the equipment in the vendor and customer's lab
