JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Ashburn, VA

Duration: 6 months

 

Must Have Skills*:

 

 Mandatory

 

·         6+  years experience

·         Operate in an agile / scrum environment.

·         Hands on experience writing & executing performance test cases

·         Design, develop, document, and execute complex performance test plans

·         Expert in  Java/J2EE

·         Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools 

·         Excellent analytical skills 

 

Preferable

·         Experience working with Agile development setting and Java Annotations and Web Applications Methodology (like  Identify the Test Environment,  Identify Performance Acceptance Criteria. Plan and Design Tests,  Configure the Test Environment, Implement the Test Design,  Analyze Results, Tune, and Retest.)

·         Proactively gather all the requirements related to all test deliverable.

·         Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

·         Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems 

 

Job Roles / Responsibilities*:     

 

·         Gather or elicit performance requirements (specifications) from users

·         Develop a high-level plan (or project charter), including requirements, resources, timelines and milestones

·         Develop a detailed performance test plan (including detailed scenarios and test cases, workloads, environment info, etc.)

·         Choose test tool(s)

·         Specify test data needed and charter effort

·         Toolsets to optimize test execution, expand test coverage, and reduce risk

·         To ensure performance test scripts and test cases are developed according to the identified test scenarios and test objectives that are in line with the Non-Functional requirements document(s).

·         Familiarity with testing hosted, multi-tier, web-based applications
