Title: Unix Administrator
Location: Columbus Ohio
Duration: 6 months+
- Strong IBM AIX administration background, experience installing, supporting environments with Application Integration tools such as Informatica, Sterling GIS, IBM Websphere, Gentran Server, Progress, Tibco
- Prior UNIX system administration with some application support experience
- Prior experience installing and supporting Informatica PowerCenter release 8.6 or greater on UNIX
- 5+ years IT experience with 2 years direct experience in the technical support of software environments
- Strong UNIX shell script and Perl programming development skills
- Proficient in various communications protocols (SSH, FTP, HTTP etc.)
- General SQL knowledge and experience with Oracle, MS SQL and Sybase
- Windows IIS and FTP management experience and NTFS file permissions knowledge
- Experience with Active Directory and integrating Active Directory with applications using LDAP
