Job Description:

Requirements / Qualifications:

 

  • Detailed knowledge configuring and migrating mailboxes using Quest Migration Manager (QMM) or hands on detailed knowledge in archiving and journaling technology using Symantec Enterprise Vault (archiving).
  • Manage and administer all corporate e-mail messaging systems and their corresponding or associated software and hardware.
  • Monitor, test and analyze e-mail system activities to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and availability.
  • Analyze e-mail system for system usage and plan for growth or increases in system capacity.
  • Identify and resolve problems affecting messaging systems performance, efficiency, and availability in a timely manner.
  • Assess need for any messaging system reconfigurations (minor or significant).
  • Develop, and maintain policies, procedures, and training plans for messaging system administration and appropriate use.
  • In depth knowledge of multi site geographically dispersed fault tolerant Exchange 2007/2010 environment.
  • MS Exchange 2003 to 2007 migration experience.
  • Advanced understanding of virtual technology.
  • Knowledge of deploying MS Sharepoint a plus. Knowledge of deploying MS Sharepoint or MS Project Server a plus.
