Day-to-Day

Our client is re-designing new set top box hardware and software. We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to automate testing for existing test cases related to current set top box technology as well as someone that can work with developers to automate tests for new technology and new features.

This individual will use the Parasoft testing tool that's already implemented in the test environment, will use Python or JavaScript for automating test cases, will create JUnit test scripts and work with developers and testers to move towards an Agile environment.

This individual will be expected to write and create automation scripts as well as converting Shell Scripts to Python.

Parasoft is a very complex tool and this individual will be expected to learn, ask questions and become adept at using this technology.

This individual will attend Scrum meetings, interface with an offshore team, work closely with developers and communicate throughout various levels in the organization.
