Relevant Experience (Yrs)         :               Minimum 5 -7 years experience in developing and implementing SAP BW/BI solutions (minimum 2 implementations).

 

1 - 2 years ABAP experience

Business Objects

 

1)           Should have good understanding of SAP BW/BI functional areas -Finance, MM, HR.

2)           Experience in SAP reporting architecture, data modeling and configuration, data acquisition and data distribution

3)           Experience on the below would be highly preferred

•             SAP Business Objects

•             BI authorization and security

 

4)           Excellent analytical ability, team skills, problem solving and communication skills, work ethics and the ability to work well in a team or individual environment are a must.

Roles & Responsibilities               :               1.            Define development and maintenance needs, plans and systems requirements through discussions with business partners and Application Development management.

2.            Design and develop solutions to satisfy end user reporting requirements.

3.            Provide for the timely and accurate resolution of end user service/change requests.

4.            Serve in a leadership role providing appropriate feedback to ensure the technical quality of proposed solutions.

5.            Provide accurate and timely resolution to production support related issues.

6.            Provide accurate and timely resolution to application development and technical maintenance problems.

7.            Provide on-call support.

8.            Design develop test implement and maintain applications software.

9.            Lead major business systems development initiatives ensuring efficient use of resources including guiding end user involvement with the development efforts.

Education           :               Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer information Systems or Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

 

Preferred Additional Qualifications

•             SAP certification in BI-Netweaver solutions.
