Network Analyst

Norcross, GA

1 Year contract

 

Provide network services and support to design, implement and maintain network systems.Responsibilities include:
• Provide technical direction and frameworks to meet business needs.
• Assist in planning, scoping and costing of projects.
• Work with other SMEs and technical support teams in the pursuit of innovative technology solutions.
• Installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing local and wide area network connections
• Troubleshoot network performance issues following company standard structured problem solving techniques
• Analyze network traffic and provide accurate and timely feedback regarding the quality and reliability of the deployed solutions
• Monitor for security related issues and provide appropriate notification and response escalation.

Required Skills:
Technical
• Skilled at installing and configuring Cisco network hardware including switches, routers, access points, etc.
• Must possess strong hardware, software, and network connection troubleshooting experience as well as solid extensive  hands-on technical knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards.
• Able to utilize network management and analysis tools.
• Has an deep understanding of wireless technologies, protocols and standards. 
• Knowledgeable in data and voice cable infrastructure techniques and best practices.

Work Management & General IT Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Ability to work with many different personality types inside IT and in the user community; ability to flex communication style, approach and content based on the audience.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others in a matrix, team-oriented IT environment.
• Ability to organize and plan work to meet goals and deadlines while handling multiple tasks.
• Establishes and builds relationships; applies knowledge to the business and provides personalized, value-added service; demonstrates willingness to meet needs of clients by pursuing improved courses of action; delivers products and services that best serve client needs; uses client feedback as a basis for improving service and performs necessary follow-up work without being prompted

• Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection and Call Manager Express
• Network redundancy and disaster revovery solutions
• Cisco ACE load-balancing platforms
