Title: Application Security Engineer

Job Description:

 

As a member of the Application Development team this position is responsible for contributing to the implementation of a new Password Management software tool in support of our standards.  In addition, the individual will contribute to defining new application security standards and practices. The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong technical background and deep cross-functional expertise in application security services, including expertise in security components for network, database, and application services as well as workstation / end-user environments. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Create, review, and propose application security designs

Establish patterns and frameworks to be followed in maintaining and evolving the company's security architecture and a clear and comprehensive security framework

Contribute to a cross-functional program focused on infrastructure and application security requirements

7+ years of solid experience in developing application software.

3+ years solid experience in designing and architecting application security.

Investment management industry experience preferred.

APPLICATION SECURITY:    

Hands-on experience with application security control architecture and design, information security solution engineering, security technology implementation, and security service delivery role.

Experience providing and validating security requirements related to information system design and implementation.
