Position: Sr. GIS Developer
Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6-12+ Months

Immd Start date 

 

 

Sr. Level GIS developer who has an understanding of the Oracle database for legacy support, but that is only a plus. 

 

The Senior GIS Developer position requires:
* Extensive experience with ESRI's GIS products such as ArcMap and ArcGIS Server
* Minimum of seven years of full time employment using GIS
* Experience using Visual Basic, .Net, HTML, and XML for GIS applications
* Database development skills with SQL Server required; Oracle beneficial
* Knowledge of natural gas pipeline operations and Pipeline Integrity Management highly beneficial
* Working knowledge of the PODS (Pipeline Open Data Systems) data model benefical
* Experience with Mobile GIS highly beneficial
* Attention to details and experience with QA/QC and data analysis
* Ability to manage multiple tasks
* Excellent analytical\problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a team oriented environment
* Excellent communication and presentation skills required
* Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services beneficial
