Urgent Requirement for Business Objects Developer in NYC with leading financial client
Position Description
Senior Business Objects Engineer. This is a hands-on technical position. Ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience as a Business Objects developer, project lead, and architect. Development experience will include mastery of all Business Objects components including Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, Universe Designer, Live Office, and Xcelsius Dashboards. Lead experience will include training, mentoring, and supporting of developers; project details planning; and socialization skills to achieve consensus. Architect experience will include sizing & specification of server platforms; designing for scalability & failover; and instrumentation for monitoring & support.

Responsibilities: Planning & execution of Business Objects migrations. Specification & construction of additional environments. Establishment of run books, operational and governance processes, and best practices. Onboarding of new applications. Escalation support for Business Objects operations. Vendor liason for support issues.
