Title: SAP Business Objects Developer/Administrator

Seeking very senior consultants with excellent communication skills
As a SAP Business Objects Developer/Administrator, you will design and update Universes, consult on report/dashboard development, provide production support for our internal user community, administrate the BI platform and assist the Technology team on a number of initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
. Business Objects Universe and report design and development tasks.
. Address business intelligence initiatives from a data delivery/presentation perspective.
. Assist customers with defining, documenting, designing and configuring solutions by creating detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to achieve solution.
. Assist in the management of end user testing and acceptance as well as customer support in providing post-implementation support and maintenance.
. Assist in the management of the Business Objects platform that includes: Web Intelligence, Voyager, Desktop Intelligence, Designer, CMC and Import Wizard.
. Leverage industry best practices and methods. Write documentation to support the implementation of best practices.
. Establish, maintain and ensure adherence to application standards for data reporting and extracting.
. Ensure adherence to corporate data security requirements for the storage, transportation and retention of data.
Education and Experience
. 4+ years experience using the Business Objects suite of products in either XI Release 2 or 3.
. Desktop Intelligence and Web Intelligence report development.
. Solid understanding of all functionality in the InfoView portal.
. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
. Ability to think beyond the basic requirements.
. Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
. Thorough understanding of relational databases and SQL.
. Excellent working knowledge of Administration of platform including server administration and user security mechanisms.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both the business and technical communities.
. Demonstrated ability to be productive with minimal supervision.
Skills and Knowledge
. Business Objects Platform Administration a must.
. Experience with Dashboard Manager a plus.
. Experience with data modeling or ETL tools a plus.
. PL/SQL, Oracle Analytic functions a plus.
. Experience with data mining or advanced analytics tools a plus.
