Job Description:
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Guides and advises less experienced Business Analysts. Highly skilled. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. 2 PeopleSoft Business Analysts assisting in two primary activities...
1. Writing design specifications for PeopleSoft Interfaces and Reports both new and existing moving from PeopleSoft 8.9 to 9.1
2. Testing PeopleSoft 9.1 Interfaces, Reports and Customizations.
Skills - Must have experience in PeopleSoft 8x. Ideally experience in PeopleSoft 8.9 or 9.1.
- Experience in either ePerformance or Candidate Gateway or if not then very strong in Core HCM application. Experience with Succession Planning or Profile Management in 9.1 a big plus.
- Ability to turn business requirements into Design documents.
- Can meet with and communicate with Business team.
- Testing background, preferably experience testing a PeopleSoft upgrade.
- Good documentation skills required.
