Job Description:	THREE Openings... Details: Cognos Report Writers (3) Key Responsibilities: . Converting reports from Crystal reports to Cognos 8.4. . Creating technical specification document's by understanding/analyzing existing reports which are in Crystal reports. . Creating new Framework Manager Model or making enhancements to existing framework Model by analyzing the reporting needs. . Create technical specifications document for new Framework Manager Model. . Developing reports in Cognos based on the report specification document. . Communicating timely status updates and issues to the project team . Developing dashboards, cubes and analysis reports. . Performing data modeling and query tuning in Framework Manager and Report Studio to achieve maximum performance while retrieving data from multiple data sources. . Developing complex Report Studio reports involving drill up, drill down and master/detail queries. . Working closely with database and other reporting developers to achieve desired results or output. Qualifications/Skills Needed: . Experience of working on Cognos 8.4 is required. . 3+ Years of gathering requirements for reports, Framework manager model, Cubes and creating technical documents. . 5+ Years of experience in developing simple to complex reports using report studio. . 5+ Years of experience in designing and developing framework manager models with different layers. . 3+ Years of experience in developing dashboards, cubes and analysis reports. . 5+ years of writing simple to complex SQL. . Strong experience of data analysis, Data ware housing concepts is required. . Knowledge of crystal reports. . Experience in writing Java scripts.
