Title: Business Analyst

Location: PA

Duration: 6 Months CTH

 

Description

 

Primary Responsibility:

  Manage Application process design

  Conduct design walk-through

  Conduct business process mapping exercise

  Capture/Create business requirements

  Conduct Business requirements walk through meetings

  Document functional / non-functional requirements

  Document technical specifications

  Document requirements for testing

  Process Documentation

  Participate in UAT and conduct QA testing

  Task Management

  Perform Root-cause analysis

  Provide status of assigned workset

  Provide status updates and conduct meetings

  Adhere to PNC corporate risk and technology standards and Project methodologies

   

Job Description: 

 

General requirements

  High level understanding on brokerage business

  Excellent skills with PC and Standard MS office products like Word, excel, PowerPoint, access.

  Working knowledge of Visio and lotus notes preferred

  Ability to effectively operate and communicate in Team based organization

  Effectively communicate with developers and other service partners

  Ability to Operate in fast paced environment

  Ability to manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity

  Self starter and ability to drive for results.

  Highly organized with excellent problem solving, analytical and presentation skills.

   Position may include working overtime and on weekends

   Position may include very limited travel

 

Technical requirements

  Understanding of data ware house and data conversion.

  Knowledge of Requirements Management and Testing processes

  Working knowledge of oracle PL/SQL, toad, SQL navigator (query tools)

  Very strong Excel and VBA skills.

  Strong understanding of Relational database concepts and data modeling.

  Data warehouse implementation exposure

  Exposure to project management tools (Clarity)

  Familiarity with testing tools ( Quality center)

  Understanding of UML  for process documentation

  Knowledge of Process flow diagrams like swim lane, UML activity diagram

  Experience with PM methodologies

  Knowledge of SDLC
