Targeted Skills & Competencies:

In depth knowledge of OmniPlus (or similar record keeping software) COBOL, JCL, OmniScript Ability to identify appropriate test cases and execute with high degree of accuracy Ability to identify potential issues with specifications Ability to multitask; flexibility Ability to communicate with both business as well as technical resources.

 -Must be able to handle sensitive data confidentially.

-Prior TIAA experience preferred. 

Expected Responsibilities:

Develop and test COBOL code to create transactions Omni transactions requried to convert data from external recordkeepers to TIAA Omni platform.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

 Interpret specifications for data conversion Identify potential specification issues Code programs according to specifications and produce error free results Identify appropriate test cases and execute with high degree of accuracy Identify potential issues with specifications Be responsible for multiple projects concurrently Work according to tight timelines, requiring flexibility in schedule Handle sentitive data confidentially. 

Suggested Experience & Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in financial services industry

-At least five years experience working with OmniPlus (or similar record keeping software) including conversion experience.

 -Proven ability to work effectively with business clients and IT staff.

-In-depth understanding of financial services operations and product offerings.

-Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual team.

-Ability and willingness to work outside of regular business hours as necessary to meet client commitments. -Proven ability to process confidential information.
